With demand remaining weak, Volvo will withdraw the U.S. market the S40 and V50 . The manufacturer prefers to invest its efforts on the S60 and V60.
Of the nearly 30,000 Volvo sold in first 5 months of the year, the S40 and V50 are barely accounted for more than 2500 (2146 S40 and V50 434). A level that continues to fall, with a drop of almost 30% to the sedan, and 60% for the break.
In view of this, Volvo prefers simplify its range, and put its efforts on the models easier to sell: S60, V60 and XC60 in particular. In contrast, the C30 and C70 will remain in the catalog under their intake of image for the brand.
